for working professionals. Its graduate offerings are credited
through Salem State College. Founded in 1854, Salem State College
is situated 21 miles north of Boston. It is the only four-year,
public college on the North Shore and is the third largest public institution
of higher education in Massachusetts. Salem State College offers over
30 undergraduate and over 50 graduate programs. The academic programs
are grounded in the tradition of a strong core in the arts and sciences. Salem
State College offers the Master of Arts in Teaching and the Master of
Education degrees. Salem State College is accredited by the New England
Association of Schools and Colleges. The education program is credited
by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education. Through
the Northeast Consortium and Salem State College, TeacherOnlineEducation.com
course participants may earn 3 semester hours (5 quarter hours) of graduate
credit per course that may apply to a post-baccalaureate degree or teacher
recertification.
Transcripts & Grade Reports
After a TeacherOnlineEducation course has ended (at the end
of 12 weeks or when all participants have completed their work, whichever
comes first), T.O.E. will turn in all grades. Within approximately
2 weeks, NEC will mail each participant a grade report. Salem State guarantees
an additional grade report within 2 weeks after the end of the
semester in which the course concluded. Typically, however, the Salem
State grade report is sent out much sooner, approximately 2 weeks after
NEC’s. If you wish to have an official Salem State College transcript
(with the college seal and including all courses taken), participants
must make a request in writing to the address below and mail it with
a check for $2.00 (payable to Salem State College).
